Fridur will be bringing her samples of various costumes and other components such as headgear, belts, vests, and embroidery; She will illustrate techniques to recreate the authentic look. Fabric samples, patterns, books, and pamphlets will also be part of her presentation.

The six-hour workshop includes:

• History and description of Icelandic costumes Upphlutur, Peysufot, Skautbuningur, Kyrtill, and costumes for children and men
• Samples of costumes and appropriate fabrics
• Books, pamphlets, and patterns
• Explanation of all elements—belts, embroidery, head-dresses, caps, silver, and gilt ornaments, buttons, lacework, shawls, capes, etc.
