Helga Kress

Helga Kress is professor emerita of general literature at the University of Iceland; and she was the first woman to be a permanent instructor in the Philosophy Department. Helga is also a former president of the Philosophy Department and the first woman to be elected as Dean of the University of Iceland. She studied at the University of Iceland and the University of Bergen in Norway.
